Vietnam will definitely be without two key players against Indonesian National Team U-16 in the final AFF U-16 Cup 2022 at Maguwoharjo Stadium, Sleman, Friday (12/8).
Vietnam’s two key players who will miss Indonesia in the 2022 AFF U-16 Cup final are goalkeeper Pham Dinh Hai and striker Hoang Cong Hau.
Dinh Hai was injured after colliding with a Thai player in the 75th minute of the semifinals. While Hoang Cong Hau got a red card in the 85th minute.
“The match between Vietnam vs Thailand was very intense. We lost in terms of personnel even though we won against Thailand,” said Vietnam coach Nguyen Quoc Tuan quoted from the official website VFF.

Goalkeeper Dinh Hai played as a starter when Vietnam was defeated by Indonesia in the 2022 AFF U-16 Cup Group A match last weekend. Meanwhile Cong Hau, who has collected three goals, plays as a substitute.
Meanwhile, the Indonesian U-16 national team also has the opportunity not to be strengthened by one of the key players against Vietnam in the final, namely midfielder Mokhamad Hanif Ramadhan.
Hanif missed the match against Myanmar after being injured against Vietnam. The Indonesian coach, Bima Sakti, hopes that Hanif can recover before the 2022 AFF U-16 Cup final match against Vietnam.
“Hanif was injured yesterday against Vietnam. He was replaced as soon as the first round was over due to bruises. Hopefully Hanif can be more fit in the final,” said Bima.
