[스포츠]’Let’s go, gold medal for the first time in 8 years!’ Korean badminton, Tokyo World Championships scramble

The Korean badminton team departed for the first time in 8 years to win a gold medal at the World Individual Championships.

The World Individual Championships is the most prestigious tournament in which five individual events (men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s doubles, mixed doubles) are held in a tournament format.

While the interest is whether Ahn Se-young, the third seed in the women’s singles, can enter the medal right, last year’s women’s doubles silver medalist So-hee Lee – Shin Seung-chan and third place Kim So-young – Gong Hee-yong are also aiming for the top.

Seo Seung-jae and Choi Sol-gyu are also an ambush in the men’s doubles reunion.

Korea’s last gold medal was in 2014 when Ko Seong-hyeon and Shin Baek-cheol won the men’s doubles event.
