For months, the Muslim Emirate and Fifa (with beer sponsor Budweiser) struggled to find a solution. Now it’s all about the details. For example, the question of how long it can be served?

Current trend: from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Of course, Fifa sponsor Anheuser-Busch (“Budweiser” beer brand) wants to serve his drinks.

At the moment alcohol in Qatar is only available in bars and restaurants of hotels. And in a supermarket that requires a permit. This is only available to foreigners over the age of 21 who live permanently in Qatar.

It is forbidden to bring friends or relatives who do not have a permit into the Qatar Distribution Company (QDC). The shop also sells pork, but only to non-Muslims.
