After three wins in three preliminary round games of Women’s European Championship in England and without conceding a goal, our team is in the quarter-finals. But who are we playing against, when is the game, where will the duel be broadcast on TV? You can find all information about it here.
When is our quarterfinals?
The first quarter final of the European Championship is Wednesday evening between England and Spain. Germany plays the second quarter-final on Thursday evening, July 21 at 9 p.m. The game will take place in Brentford.
Who is Germany’s opponent?
As the first in group B, Germany will play the quarter-finals against the second in group A. The 1-0 win against Norway in the third preliminary round put Austria in second place and in the knockout round and is now the next opponent of the DFB women. Our national coach Martina Voss-Tecklenburg (54) says: “I think it’s absolutely deserved, they did very well against England (0:1, d. Red). We’re looking forward to a neighborhood duel and a total statement for the women’s soccer Bundesliga, because there are so many players in this league. You know each other well.”

no All quarter- and semi-finals were already sold out before the end of the group stage. After our last preliminary round match against Finland (3:0), there was still a final sales phase, but that ended on Sunday. The stadium in Brentford can hold 17,250 fans. The final of the Women’s European Championship is already completely sold out.
