Klopp in his emotional declaration of love: “Hello Martina, hello girls, I know you have more important things to do at the moment. I just wanted to take this opportunity to wish you all the best of luck from the bottom of my heart. We all know that you need luck in life – there’s no other way. So far you haven’t had to use that much of it. Against the French, though, you might need a little more. They’re really good too. But that is not important.”

And further: “It is important that you build on what you have achieved throughout the tournament – namely unbelievable ones. I didn’t really get how much people gave you credit for before the tournament. But since then I’ve seen three of your games and I can tell you: I was so impressed. Insanity! Now you know that I like a certain kind of football and so you can imagine that I love your football.”

Then the Liverpool coach gets emotional: “The fitness is amazing, you look so fresh. Compliments to all coaches. Your common idea is obvious and that’s what I wish you today. That you follow your path with all conviction. I wish you all the best and lots of luck. Your Klopp!“

That will certainly give our girls strength and a boost against France! ZDF presenter Sven Voss (46) and expert Kim Kulig (32) were also touched by Klopp’s video message.

National coach Martina Voss-Tecklenburg (54) is also very happy about the beautiful words, says on ZDF: “We included the video in the match day preparation and thank you again to Jürgen Klopp. Those were impressive words that helped us to believe in our strength. Going into the game with confidence too and he analyzed it to the point.”

Against France, however, the national coach will have to do without striker Klara Bühl (21 / Corona). She is replaced by Jule Brand (19).
