SC Heerenveen and FC Utrecht competed against each other on Friday evening in Jubbega. Kees van Wonderen’s team lost 0-1 with a goal from Mike van der Hoorn. Still, the trainer is happy with the practice match.

“It was quite a tough pot, a really useful match. Although you naturally want to win the feeling,” the trainer tells the Leeuwarder Courant† He saw that his men were the better side with the ball before half-time. “But we need to get even more solid, especially in the final phase of an attack.”

Van Wonderen knows that not everything goes well in the preparation. “The last pass or the decisive action, they have yet to come, but I don’t mind at all. If everything were perfect and good now, I would be here for nothing.”
