HOLY SUNDAY EAST.-By team. The United States won the team champion trophy by beating Canada 3-2 during the 30th Panam Junior Badminton Championship, which will take place until July 22 at the Parque del Este Table Tennis Pavilion
.After being at a point of sentencing the series, the Americans were thoroughly used against some Canadians who came out protesters.
The series was defined in the mixed doubles clash, where the gringos Ryan Ma and Chloe Ho emerged victorious (21-19, 17-21, 21-16) against the duo made up of Victor Lai and Jessica Cheng.
The final point was highly contested, since neither team gave ground, until the Americans surprised the Canadian defense on several occasions, as well as the fatigue of Lai and Cheng. The bronze went to Brazil who beat Peru, who finished in fourth place. Mexico finished fifth after defeating (3-0) El Salvador. Dominican Republic was in seventh.
