Terres de Montaigu and its ten member municipalities are labeled Terres de jeux 2024. As part of this labeling, the Departmental Olympic and Sports Committee (CDOS) supports the municipalities in setting up actions including the “Vendée Tour, Terre de sports”. The agglomeration community Terres de Montaigu hosted from July 25 to 29, in five municipalities of its territory, this sports tour.
The 4e day of the tour, Thursday, the site of the lake of Treize-Septiers hosted the various activities for the municipalities of Treize-Septiers, La Bruffière and La Boissière-de-Montaigu. A hundred children accompanied by their parents tried their hand at archery, spikeball, tchoukball, pétanque football, badminton, beach tennis, speedball, basketball or wooden games.
Most of the time they come for a sport and in the end they try them all , comment the animators. Highlighting the benefits of sport is one of the objectives of this tour. The elected officials, Isabelle Rivière and Jean-Michel Brégeon, respectively, mayors of Treize-Septiers and La Bruffière and their sports assistants, Yvonnick Bolteau and Laurent Chiron, were present.
