The Ministry of Education will transfer more than 11 million soles to carry out the 2022 Sports and Parasports School Games.
The authorization for said transfer is contained in Law 31529, published today in the Legal Regulations of the Official Gazette A Peruvian man.
The resources to be transferred come from items included in the public sector budget for the current fiscal year and will go to various regional governments.
The budget transfer amounts to 11 million 668,590 soles and will be distributed among 25 regional governments.
This law was approved in the plenary session of the Congress of the Republic and is published today, with the signatures of President Pedro Castillo and the head of the Council of Ministers, Aníbal Torres.

After a pause forced by the pandemic, the Sports and Parasports School Games will be held again this year, both in person and virtually.
The competitions of chess, athletics, paraathletics, judo, swimming, table tennis, basketball, soccer, futsal, handball and volleyball will be held in person.
The classification process began in May, with the skills developed at the level of each educational institution. Competences are currently being developed between the institutions corresponding to each educational management unit.
In August, the development of skills at the regional level is expected, and in September at the macro-regional level.
The national meetings will take place from October 22 to 29, according to what is established in the schedule of these games.
