Toulouse. Play-down in sight for the Stadistes

It only takes a victory for Toulouse in the next four games to switch to play-down. This precious success, which would potentially open the road to maintenance, could be won today against Montpellier in a decisive derby. “We need this victory to definitively switch to play-down and the Héraultais must do the same to reach the play-off”, summarizes the vice-president, Yanaël Delpech. “We’re not going to lie, it’s been a difficult season because we were particularly affected by the unexpected departures of players at the start of the year”, reveals the leader. “These movements disturbed the group and the objectives were revised downwards but it had the advantage of launching certain young people and giving them experience”, he admits while the Stadistes occupy the 4th and before -last place of the hen. With a record of 2 wins and 10 losses, the “Rouge et Noir” have fought hard since April 16, winning their only two successes during a trip to Nice (0-5, 1-3). “We have the merit of not having dropped any match, we have always kept a fighting spirit and we want to prove it this weekend”, assures Yanaël Delpech, knowing that the crowd will be there this Sunday, at 11 hours.

Today is the party!

Workshops, games and derby will be on the program at Les Argoulets. On the sidelines of the penultimate day of D1, the club and baseball party will be held. An event organized by the Stade Toulousain for members but also for the curious who wish to discover this sport. “We never have too much trouble attracting onlookers, but here we say to ourselves that with the derby and the good smells of the barbecue and the beers, people should join the party”, smiles the vice-president. It only remains for Toulouse to crown this beautiful day with a success.
