Sport, a major national cause in 2024

The two sensitive issues of security and the budget were discussed this Monday morning at the Élysée. The opening ceremony will take place on the Seine with security provided by the army and several specialized agents. Sport being the great national cause in 2024, we will have to expect an overrun on the budget side.

Thus, for its part, the Organizing Committee is counting on new sponsors but also on a gesture from the IOC, whose contribution already amounts to more than one billion euros. Negotiations are still ongoing to increase this participation.
