The mess of the women’s soccer league calendar has concluded, for now with the precautionary suspension by the Superior Council of Sports (CSD) of the draws for the Women’s First Division that had to be made separately by the Women’s Professional Football League (LPFF), this Tuesday, and the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), this Wednesday.

Dates in a row

The LPFF announced this Tuesday morning that it held the draw at 1:00 p.m., in response to the silence of the CSD after asking to stop the draw that the RFEF had announced for Wednesday with the resulting conflict of powers. A fact that has ended in a confrontation between the RFEF and the newly formed league. And because of this the CSD has had to intervene by communicating to both the precautionary suspension of the draws.

It all started last July 20, when the LPFF announced that the draw for the next season’s calendar was held at the CSD headquarters, but the RFEF announced that it would be at its headquarters this Wednesday the 27th at 12:30 p.m. . On the 22nd the LPFF reported to the CSD a conflict of competencesunderstanding that the Federation wanted to “usurp powers”, because the calendars and their draw correspond to the professional leagues, men’s and women’s.

The Women’s First will start on weekend of September 10 and 11.
