the young Arnaud De Lie offers himself the 3rd stage in the sprint (video)


Arnaud De Lie won the 3rd stage of the Tour de Wallonie (2.Pro) in the sprint on Monday, after 195.6 between Visé and Rochefort. Australian Robert Stannard (Alpecin-Deceuninck) retains the overall lead.

De Lie beat the Eritrean Biniam Girmay (Intermarché-Wanty-Gobert) and the French Axel Laurance (B&B Hotels-KTM) to sign, at 20, the seventh victory of his first season with the pros.

On Tuesday, the 4th stage will connect Durbuy to Couvin (200.8 km) with several climbs, including that of the Barrage du Ry de Rome 5 km from the finish.
