Guérigny. The strong men back. The third Grand Prix des Forges, organized by the judo section of Asgu, will take place on Saturday September 17, from 2 p.m., on Place Jean-Jaurès.
Reserved for amateurs (a dozen of them have already registered), this annual meeting of strong men will include six events: the farmer’s walk (running 40 m with a weight of 70 kg in each hand), the medley (sequence of carrying different weights over 10 m), the yoke (carrying a 150 kg yoke over the greatest possible distance), the tire (275 kg, to be turned over the greatest number of times in 1 min), the truck (16 t, to pull over 10 m with a harness) and atlas balls (50, 80, 110 and 150 kg to lift then place on a 1.20 m high support). A concert by the group Spys will conclude the day.
