In the quarter-final tie they had to face a high-flying rival, Suwalski KB Litpol – Malow, and despite the fact that Rory Easton, one of the corner stars, was touched, they have managed to stand up to the Polish team.

The duel began with a Spanish defeat, as Easton and Laura Molina were unable to defeat Cybulski and Augustyn (21-14 and 21-12).
