ROME – Excellent news from the competition fields of Pajulahti, Finland, where the sixth edition of the European Para Youth Games kicked off yesterday. In the first part of the day alone, Italy won nine medals. Another seven then arrived in the afternoon, bringing the total won by the Azzurri to 16 after just 24 hours of competition. There are eight golds, six silvers and two bronzes.

MORNING COMPETITIONS – Judo gave the Italian expedition two gold medals and one silver in the U18-U20 category. Climbing the top step of the podium were Fabien Amarfi and Dong Dong Camanni. Second place, however, for Alice Salvatore.
