Starting Muay Thai but awkward and skinny? (sports, boxing, martial arts)

Hello, I would like to start Muay Thai, but I am quite clumsy and very thin for my age M/18 (ex soccer player & runner), I have a bit of judo and kickboxing experience (judo 1, kickboxing 1/2 year).

I’m actually a huge boxing fan and have always enjoyed it, but am not 100% convinced I should take up boxing due to the “brain trauma” it is said to have and as a result, Muay Thai is a more versatile, superior and effective form of self-defense should, that’s why Muay Thai, also fits a bit with the little kickboxing experience.

Does it then make sense to start straight away or should I somehow go to the gym and stretch first?
