In January of this year, the Dutch player from Standard was told that she had breast cancer. A difficult period followed. “I have walked this path with a lot of setbacks, tears, struggles, courage and a lot of support from my parents, brothers, friends and family.”
“I have fought, with my legs stretched out and won”, she now brings the good news. “I am so proud of myself. Special thanks to my doctors, surgeons and the A5 Nursing Unit who have helped and supported me.”
