It promises to be a weekend full of sports emotions. The municipality of Vaudreuil (Eure) organizes its first edition of Olympiads from Friday July 1 to Sunday July 3, 2022, while theSeine-Eure conurbation suggest an event “Cap on the games” from Saturday July 2 to Sunday July 3, 2022.

Bringing the Olympic dynamics to life in Vaudreuil, this is what guided Louis Speybrouckdeputy in charge of sport and civic life, and his team to apply for and obtain the label Playground 2024explains Didier Levasseur, communications assistant at the Town Hall of Vaudreuil.
From July 1 to 3, the village will host the 1st edition of the “Olympades du Vaudreuil”. The opportunity to experience a festive moment and to light the flame of the Olympic spirit in the heart of the village”.
Associations are the lungs of social life in the village.
The various associations of the city will offer discovery workshops for the various sports disciplines.
On the program: table tennis, golf, judo, football, petanque and many other activities. 29 sports associations du Vaudreuil will be present. The whole will be supplemented by club competitions and small tournaments between the visitors.
To participate, you will simply have to register at the entrance to the festival, which will mainly be located at the Tilleuls stadium. The more activities are tried, the more points are obtained. Participation is free.
The Olympics will begin Friday July 1 with the opening ceremony at 8:30 p.m. Activities will then continue throughout the day from Saturday July 2 until Sunday July 3 at 6 p.m.
Sunday, July 3, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., there will be a sports flea market and for catering, a local village, with local and international products.
Saturday evening is scheduled for a dance party from 7 p.m. to midnight with the pop rock group “The why”. In addition, from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m., a Roller Party is organized by the Commercial Union.

Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 July, the park of Lery-Poses (Eure) in Normandy is transformed into a large olympic village !
Two years from the 2024 Olympic Games which will take place in Paris, the Seine-Eure territory wants to be more than ever a land of sport.
For a weekend, visitors will be able to try out the Olympic and Paralympic disciplines.
Around twenty disciplines will be offered for initiation, in partnership with local committees, leagues and associations: badminton, basketball, fencing, judo, sailing, rowing, football, archery, taekwondo.
Other highlights will be offered to visitors: an exhibition on Olympism with CASDEN and environmental awareness workshops.
Meet on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (catering on site).
