BOLASPORT.COM – The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) confirmed that four countries are interested in hosting the 2023 Asian Cup.

The four countries are South Korea, Australia, Qatar and Indonesia.

This is as released by the AFC on their official website on Monday (18/7/2022).

Furthermore, they must fill out the documents sent by the AFC no later than August 31, 2022.

The AFC will select and announce the host team at the meeting to be held on 17 October 2022.

However, Indonesia is considered to face problems if it hosts the 2023 Asian Cup, namely double-booking.

The assessment came from South Korean media, Korea Joong Ang Daily.

The media favors South Korea, which will swing smoothly to host the 2023 Asian Cup.

The reason is that the three countries besides South Korea are experiencing double-booking problems.
