Skateboard star Lore Bruggeman opens campaign towards Paris 2024 with important points | skateboarding

Lore Bruggeman has stranded on the Pro Tour skateboarding in Rome in the semifinals. With her 13th place in the final ranking, our compatriot is doing well in the Olympic skateboarding qualifications for Paris 2024.

Less than six months ago, Lore Bruggeman made her Olympic debut in the street section in Tokyo. Last week, the race to the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris kicked off with the first qualifier, the Pro Tour in Rome.

The entire world top had come to the Italian capital with 70 participants among the women and no less than 150 among the men. Bruggeman started well and survived the qualifications and the quarterfinals without any problems.

The semi-finals were the final station for Bruggeman. With 156.01 points, she finished 13th out of 16 semifinalists. Only 8 Japanese women, 2 Brazilian, 1 Australian and 1 Dutch did better. Since only 3 skateboarders per country are allowed to go to the Games, Bruggeman has done a good thing for Paris.

Belgium was also represented among the men: Beer Vanhoutte and Noah De Jaeger. They both lost their lives in qualifying due to some mistakes. Vanhoutte finished 85th and De Jaeger 113th.
