For this new patch, Riot Games wanted to reduce the average time of TFT games and above all to ensure that the games end at phase 8.

For this patch 12.13 of Teamfight Tactics, the buffs are once again very present. However, despite nerfs to assassins in patch 12.12 and in mid-patch, the latter have again the right to Critical hit damage nerf. The other important point of these patches, is the reduction in the average duration of games. Multiple innings saw their duration reduced by 10 seconds what put end to end makes a certain reduction. We present to you all the changes of the patch 12.13 on TFT.

Updated systems


Duration of games

In order to reduce the average match length somewhat, we have made the following changes:

  • The duration of rounds 2-1, 3-2 and 4-2 (enhancement rounds) has been reduced by 10 seconds.
  • The duration of round 4-7 (Precious Dragon) has been reduced by 10 seconds.
  • The duration of round 5-1 (after Precious Dragon) has been reduced by 10 seconds.

Damage to players

99.99% of games end before Stage 8. However, this change is for that remaining 0.1%. The games have to end one day!

  • Phase 8 player damage increased to 150 in Standard and Double Up.

  • Cosmic: Players must put Cosmic units on the board before they can receive Cosmic Shops and Orbs. A new Refresh button lets you track your progress to Cosmic Shops. It also indicates the quality of your cosmic orbs.
  • Cosmic – Power: 5/30/70 ⇒ 10/40/80
  • The Cosmic Emblem has been removed.
  • Gunner Explosion Attack Damage Percentage: 150/210/280/350% ⇒ 125/225/325/425%
  • Mirage, Dawnbringer’s Determination – Healing max health percentage: 40/70/70 (heal twice)/125 (heal twice) ⇒ 40/65/65 (heal twice)/110 (heal twice) time)
  • Furywing – Attack Speed: 50/125/225% ⇒ 50/135/250%

This black hole explodes after 2 seconds, dealing magic damage to all enemies in the area and increasing their damage taken by 20% for 10 seconds. Black holes spawned after 20 seconds of combat are larger and deal 50% more damage.

  • Evil Twin – Armor/Magic Resist/Attack Damage/Power: 30/40/50 ⇒ 22/33/44

  • Ricochet (Cannoneer) bounces now prioritize the farthest targets instead of the closest targets.

  • Zz’Rot’s Portal now works more reliably with and against Assassins.

Optimizations

  • Combat Training – Starting Attack Damage: 5 ⇒ 8
  • Evil Twin: Now grants a 2-star copy of units you upgraded to 3-star before getting this enhancement.
  • Traveling Blacksmith: Can no longer grant Ornn items you have already received.
  • Improvised Armor III – Armor and Magic Resist: 60 ⇒ 65

Modes


Double Up

  • Pick order is now visually represented on the scoreboard.
  • The order of groups for selection has been updated. Group release order: 4th and 3rd, 4th and 2nd, 3rd and 1st, 2nd and 1st.
  • The order of the groups for the selection after elimination of the team in 4th position has been updated. Group release order: 3rd and 2nd, 3rd and 1st, 2nd and 1st.
  • The order of the groups for the selection after elimination of the teams in 4th and 3rd positions has been updated. Group release order: 2nd and 2nd, 1st and 1st.
  • If the arrival of reinforcements is cancelled, the portal visual effects now cancel immediately instead of ending their 3 second duration.
  • Carousel release timers (which tell you when you’ll be able to move around to select an item or unit) have been updated for more visibility.

Hyper Roll

  • Dragon Rider – Chance to give Miamsy two snaxes in Hyper Roll: 65% ⇒ 50%
  • Stellamancer (Soraka) – HP restored to Tactician: 1/2/15 ⇒ 1/2/20

Regional transfers


Rank Preservation

  • If you transfer your account to a new region and then transfer your account back to your original region within two weeks of leaving it, your account will revert to the rank you had in your original region before the transfer.

Corrections de bugs


  • Archery: Visually, Varus’ arrows now shoot from his bow, and no longer slightly below.
  • Legends now always gain stat bonuses from a sacrificed unit, even when affected by a Zephyr.
  • The Sacrifice of Legends now occurs before the Zephyr triggers. Thus, the Zephyr cannot hit a unit that is immediately sacrificed (which made it look like the Zephyr hadn’t hit anything).
  • Tahm Kench’s skill damage is now properly blocked by Banshee’s Claw.
  • Shapeshifter Soul now correctly states that it grants a Suncloak, not a Hand of Justice.
  • Fixed an issue where Preparation I could be offered in round 4-2.
  • Ashe now casts her skill on the target of her attacks, rather than the closest target.
  • Ghost armies that have enhancements with different tiers (Echo of Luden, All Different, etc.) will now work as intended.
  • Fixed a bug where Lightscale items were removed during combat in certain situations.
  • Hot Ahead: Boiling Cannonball now assigns its burn damage more accurately when multiple Cannoneer cannonballs hit the same target (this only affects the damage summary; the damage does not change).
