Athletes with and without disabilities have been training together in judo for ten years. Dieter Bischoff, who provided the ideas, did even more for the athletes.
VonAngela HaeuslerIn the sports hall of the Heil-Pedagogical Center (HPZ) of the Lebenshilfe organization in Sending, there is a polyphonic voice: “I am strong! I am a tree! I have roots!” The shouts are part of the credo of a martial arts course that brings together judo athletes with and without disabilities every week and is also a lesson in self-assertion. Now the group is celebrating its tenth anniversary with founder Dieter Bischoff and fellow athletes.
