Secastilla will have a modern green space for citizens

Secastilla has a new and complete public park that incorporates, in its green and fixed areas, attractive services for all segments of the population to exercise. The park, called José Antonio Salamero in posthumous memory of the municipal mayor, It stands on land acquired from his family that exceeds 6,000 square meters.

The new park is located in the northern part of Secastilla, on Camino Puy de Cinca street, near the Town Hall. In turn, it incorporates another 300 square meters donated by the Salamero family for public use. The new space, highly demanded by residents of all ages, has green areas prepared for the installation of mobile games: volleyball, badminton, archery and soccer, explained the mayor, Ángel Vidal. In the fixed part, even larger than the green part, the José Antonio Salamero Park has a Gym for all ages, with two exercise bikes among other attractions; calisthenics equipment, park for the elderly, multi-game castle for adults and a swing area and children’s games. As a novelty, a track of ‘pickle ball’, a new discipline between badminton, paddle tennis and pin-pon, and a spectacular zip line which was very well received at the opening.

Vidal specified that between the acquisition of the land and the adaptation of the park, an investment of 240.000 euros of which, almost half, provided by the DPH.
