“5 grams of feathers, tons of emotions”, provides French badminton. To find out for sure, go to the Champ-Fleuri gymnasium which hosts the international badminton tournament (TIB) and the Saint-Denis Réunion Open International from September 7 to 17. Events organized by badminton league in partnership with the city of Saint-Denis.
For two weeks, nearly 500 players will compete in more than 800 matches. The TIB is in its 7th edition and aims to be a continuation of the Island Games. 237 athletes from six countries are involved in the competition.
For its part, the Saint-Denis Réunion Open International will bring together 150 players from 26 countries, including 40 Indians. Players from the world’s top 100 are present and 300 matches are scheduled.
