A National Men’s Basketball Team will face Great Britain away tomorrow in the last match of the first round of the FIBA 2023 World Cup Qualifiers. Before this match, Sadik Emir Kabaca, the successful player of the miles, made a statement to İhlas News Agency (İHA). Evaluating the Great Britain match, Kabaca said, “Those whose season ended started training immediately. I joined immediately after the season ended. It is going well until now. We are ready. Great Britain is a developing country in basketball. We beat it in Istanbul in the first match. We hoped that we would win in England and return. I think,” he said.
Asked what it feels like to be called to the National Team, the 21-year-old basketball player replied, “It’s a very proud situation. I wore the A National Team uniform twice. This will be the 3rd. I’m very happy for myself.”
Reminding him to have a successful season with Galatasaray this season and the fans’ interest in him, the young player said, “I would like to thank the fans for supporting me first of all. I had my ups and downs during the season. It could have been better, but I think I brought it to a certain point at the end of the season. Next season. I can show the same performance more consistently,” he said.
