‘Remarkable plan Anderlecht with redundant Nkaka’

Anderlecht already managed to discharge Elias Cobbaut, Michel Vlap, Kenny Saief and Zakaria Bakkali this summer, while Bogdan Mykhaylichenko and Mohammed Dauda were rented out. A lot of unnecessary pawns have already left the Lotto Park, but Peter Verbeke still has work to find solutions for players who do not appear in Felice Mazzu’s plans.

The new coach allowed Timon Wellenreuther and Mustapha Bundu to join in the preparation, but in the end they were unable to convince. That opportunity was not even reserved for Aristote Nkaka. The 26-year-old midfielder was taken over from KV Oostende in 2019 for 1 million euros, a deal that was still being negotiated by Luc Devroe, but turned out to be a huge flop.

He did not play for Anderlecht for a second and in recent years was loaned out to Almeria, Racing Santander, Paderborn and Waasland-Beveren. Now, however, he is back in Neerpede and it remains to be seen where the Purple & White can sell him. Anderlecht-Online suggests, however, that a striking plan could be hatched.

FUTURES
After all, they suggest that Nkaka could be deployed at the Futures, who may place one older player in 1B next season who will not play in the A-core. Anderlecht did not fill that position yet, because Guillaume Gillet eventually decided to stop and become an assistant. In this way, the former Young Devil may still be able to put himself in the spotlight and decorate a transfer.
