It seems that having won the Most Valuable Player award in the NBA Finals (FMVP) and the championship ring was not enough for Stephen Currywho taking advantage of the occasion of his stage as a host at the ESPYS 2022 left a poisoned dart for the Boston Celtics.

Just started the transmission that recognizes the best athletes of the year according to ESPN, Curry appeared in the presentation and immediately began with a controversial phrase in which he spoke of his “family” from Massachusetts.

After mentioning his wife and his father, the number 30 of Golden State went on to be cataloged as ‘the father’ of the Boston Celtics.

The comment unleashed hatred on the part of Boston fans who still have not surpassed the 43 points he scored in the sixth game of the final that ended up decreeing the title for San Francisco.

Later it became known that the author of the joke at the gala was the product of actor and comedian Kevin Hart, who was the same one who was slapped by Will Smith at the last Oscars gala.
