Figueras was trained in the youth categories of Barça and made his ACB debut with the Barça team
The Basketball Girona continues to announce the members of the team that will play next season the Endesa League. The Girona club has announced the signing of point guard Pol Figueras, that comes from San Agustin Bay, from Palma de Majorca. SPORT advanced the operation some days ago.
Figueras, who has played the last six seasons in Leb Oro, between the branch of FC Barcelona and Palma, lands in the team of Marc Gasol 24 years old, and will live his first complete experience in ACB. Even so, the player already knows what it is like to play in the highest state division, since with Barça, debuted in the year 2016.
The third signing after Colom and Garino
The point guard born in La Selva del Camp joins the additions of Quino Colom y Patrick Garin, the other two signings announced by the club. In a note issued by Bàsquet Girona, Figueras explained that “He is happy for the opportunity and excited about the trust that the club has placed in him”, in addition to being “happy to return home and meet old colleagues again.”
