Patrick Beverley humiliated after the transfer of Rudy Gobert!

Not a big fan of Rudy Gobert, Patrick Beverley however found himself directly involved in the transfer of the big man from France. Now a player from Utah, the watchdog has also had the right to a lot of taunts on Twitter, following his last outing.

Authors of a good campaign, the Timberwolves will attack 2022-23 with as much hype as rarely in recent years. The franchise indeed struck a blow soon after the opening of the free agency, by setting up a trade to acquire Rudy Gobert. The French pivot will now form a new pair of Twin Towers with Karl-Anthony Towns, while young Anthony Edwards will accompany them from the back lines.

Interestingly, a certain Patrick Beverley was included in the consideration sent to the Jazz. The point guard is known to dislike triple DPOY, having tackled him several times in 2021-22. And he now finds himself in the former stable of the latter… beautiful irony. Anyway, the former Clipper appreciated the short one-year freelance he spent in Minnesota, and wanted to show his gratitude to the fans on social networks:

It’s just business. Thank you Wolves ❤️ Time to take another team to the playoffs

Pat Bev thanks Wolves… and gets trashed

It was indeed following his arrival that the T-Wolves rose again in the post-season, extricating themselves from the Play-In before failing against the Grizzlies in the first round. However, even if he was an important member of the roster, he was not the centerpiece either. This story of “taking a team to the playoffs” therefore made Internet users laugh gently, who did not hesitate to ridicule him wildly in the comments:

Pat Bev said the next five years would be his, and since then he’s been transferred five times ????????????

Patrick Beverley is now a Jazz player, and it would be better for him to rise to the occasion. If he is indeed traded again, the reaction of the fans is likely to be epic… We will also closely monitor his reunion with Rudy Gobert in 2022-23.
