Manchester City officially introduced its new player, Calvin Phillips, who was bought from Leeds United. The defensive midfielder is contracted for six years!

Reported from Sky Sports, Manchester City officially announces the arrival of Calvin Phillips. City have confirmed via the club’s official social media.

Calvin Phillips contracted for six years. Unfortunately, the exact price for the 26-year-old player was not released.

Allegedly, Manchester City bought Calvin Phillips at a price range of 40-50 million Pounds or the equivalent of Rp. 727 billion to Rp. 909 billion.

“I am very happy to have joined Man City. City is the best team in the country (England) with an extraordinary squad and manager Pep Guardiola who is considered the best in the world,” said Kalvin Phillips.

“My prospect is to play under Guardiola and his staff, and to be part of a fantastic squad. This is a dream come true,” he continued.

Kalvin Phillips will then wear jersey number 4. The arrival of Phillips is considered to add depth to the squad at the defensive midfielder post, which is left by Fernandinho and leaves only Rodri.
