Matteo Spanish and Alessandro Pajola certainly did not leave their mark on this Summer League night in Las Vegas, both losing their respective games. Just 13 ‘on the parquet for the 2003 native of Brindisi, who closed with 2 points (1/3 shooting, 0/1 from three), 2 assists and 1 rebound in the defeat of his Timberwolves against the San Antonio Spurs, while the Virtus Bologna playmaker, who started in a quintet for the Dallas Mavericks, scored 3 points (1/1 from three), 3 assists and 2 steals in 16 ‘in the game lost against Milwaukee. Statistics count for little, in the specific case of Pajola very little given his ability to affect the field far beyond the numbers, but even with this minute for both it was the umpteenth step forward in their technical maturation and their adaptation to the Nba world. The product of University of Alabama, Boston’s 53rd pick in the last draft, stole the show with a total performance and enormous awareness. Davison was ubiquitous in terms of personality and technical quality. Good performance also for the Houston Rockets long, 3rd overall choice, Jabari Smith Jr., albeit defeated against Portland: 19 points (7/13 shooting but 0/5 from three), 10 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 block in 28 ‘.
