With an official statement, i Los Angeles Lakers announced they had completed three purchases. The trio of players consists of center Damian Jones, winger Troy Brown and winger Juan Toscano-Anderson. They all signed a minimum wage contract. Both Brown and JTA received one-year contracts, while Jones was awarded a two-year contract with a player option.
Jones, 27, had a good season with the Kings with 8.1 points and 4.4 rebounds in 18.2 minutes across 56 games. Troy Brown found space in the Chicago Bulls (4.3 points and 3.1 rebounds in 16 minutes for 66 games) but was not presented with a qualifying offer. Toscano-Anderson, 29, has spent the last three seasons with the Warriors and recently won the title. For him 73 games with an average of 4.1 points, 2.4 rebounds, 1.7 assists in 13.6 minutes.
