Oran – Moroccans Adam Moundir and Elliot Benchetrit qualified on Wednesday for the semi-finals of the tennis tournament counting for the 19th Mediterranean Games, being held in Oran, Algeria.
Moundir (27) won his ticket at the expense of the Egyptian Mohammed Karim Maamoune 6-2, 6-3. For a place in the final, he will find the Spaniard Carlos Lopez Montagud.
For his part, Benchetrit eliminated Spaniard Lopez San Martin 6-4, 7-6 (2) in the quarter-finals. In the semi-final, he will face the winner of the quarter between the Italian Francesco Passaro and the Cypriot Petros Chrysochos
