Money is not the reason Sterling wants to move to Chelsea

Jakarta

Raheem Sterling will be moving to soon Chelseadespite having had successful years together Manchester City. Then what was the motive behind his departure from the Etihad Stadium?

Reported by The Guardian and The Times, Sterling has agreed to join Chelsea. He will be redeemed for a fee of 45 million Pounds and now both clubs are finalizing the final details.

The deal is targeted to be completed before Saturday, as Chelsea will depart for the United States on a pre-season tour, and Sterling is expected to be able to join the group.

Sterling will become the highest-paid player at Chelsea, beating N’Golo Kante. If at Man City he received a salary of 300 thousand Pounds per week, then at Stamford Bridge his salary was increased slightly.

However, that’s not the reason Sterling moved. He only hopes to become a key player, and manager Thomas Tuchel can guarantee that. The German coach has also spoken with Sterling about Sterling’s role in his team.

This has not been obtained by Sterling at Man City for the last two seasons. He still regularly scores goals, but has not always been manager Pep Guardiola’s first choice. This is understandable given the many choices on the front lines.

Sterling is known to have no problem with Man City, even his relationship with Guardiola is fairly good because the entrenador actually managed to increase awareness of his tactics. But assurances from Tuchel made him want to move.

Moreover, Sterling is fairly versatile up front. He can operate from the wing, but can also be placed as a number 9. In the midst of difficulty finding a center forward, Sterling is the best option for Chelsea.
