Who is Mike Moore?
He was the tenth president in the history of the Minor League (1992-2007). His 16 seasons as manager were the third longest term in Minor League history. At this time we offer our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.
Moore won a spirited election for MiLB president in 1991. At the time, the then-new PBA with MLB was thought to be coming out of minors. Conversely, during Moore’s presidency, participation increased.
Pat O’Conner worked closely with Moore and subsequently succeeded him as President of MiLB. O’Connor said this about Moore.
