Michael Ortega already has a team: after leaving Deportivo Cali, he will return abroad to be one of the important signings of the Bolivian League. The 31-year-old midfielder has been confirmed by The Strongestpeace.
The brindle team has just hired the Argentine Claudio Biaggio as coachand Ortega will be one of the important reinforcements that the new technical director will have.
Although many are surprised by the new destiny of Michael Ortega, it is not uncommon for the player to go abroad. Among the departures from it there have been contrasts and extremes: to play in Germany or Brazil, he has also been performing in Cyprusfor example, which had precisely been his last outing before returning to Cali.
The first time Ortega left Colombia, he went to the Atlas of Mexico (2010-2011); from there he made the leap to Europe: Bayer Leverkusen from Germany he signed him (2011-2012) and later loaned him to VfL Bochum (2012-2013).
In 2016, after playing for Junior de Barranquilla, Ortega emigrated again: Figueirense de Brazil he had it in 2016. In 2017/2018, he played in Colombia for Once Caldas and Deportivo Pasto.
In 2018, Michael left for United Arab Emirates, to play with Baniyas SC; and in 2019 he went to Cyprusto defend the Omonia Nicosia shirt.
