LeBron James invites himself to the Drew League and scores 42 points

Deprived of an official match since the beginning of April after the pitiful regular season of the Los Angeles Lakers, LeBron James has ants in his legs. For the first time since 2011, the quadruple NBA champion winger has invited himself to the Drew League, a famous summer competition in Los Angeles, mixing professional and amateur players. On the floor, near the Compton district, the “King” delighted the public with several spectacular dunks, en route to a game with 42 points and 16 rebounds for a 104-102 victory for his team: MMV Cheaters.

James was joined by another NBA star: Compton native DeMar DeRozan. The rear of Chicago sent a last decisive pass to his teammate of a match to register the last basket of his team against the Black Pearl Elite (103-97), one minute from the buzzer.

The 2,500 people in the room, including Golden State Warriors strong winger Draymond Green, were also waiting for Kyrie Irving, whose arrival was expected. But the Brooklyn point guard did not appear.
