Kings among teams interested in Quinn Cook?

It’s a known tendency: when a coach is appointed somewhere, he tends to call on players he has already coached to help him implement his ideas.

This is how the Sacramento Bee assures that Mike Brown’s Kings are interested in Quinn Cook.

NBA champion with the Warriors in 2018, where Mike Brown had been an assistant since 2016, then with the Lakers in 2020, the leader had not yet found a place in the NBA last season.

Signed by the Blazers, he was released after two preseason games before moving to Lokomotiv Kuban in Russia. He only stayed there a few weeks, before returning to the United States to finish the season in the G-League. In 11 games with the Stockton Kings, he had averaged 23.7 points, 5.1 rebounds and 5.8 assists, 52.4% shooting success, 44.6% 3-point and 88.5% free throws.

Shooting qualities which are the clear priority of Mike Brown, and which could therefore allow Quinn Cook to relaunch in the NBA, at 29 years old. Even if the Sacramento Bee ensures that other clubs are also on the spot.
