Nanterre announced on Friday the signing of US fullback Keith Hornsby for the 2022-2023 season. The player will not land in unknown territory since he played last season in Boulogne-Levallois, a few kilometers from his new club.
Arriving in 2021 from the German Championship, Hornsby was one of the revelations of the season in Betclic Elite, bringing 11.8 points and an excellent 49.2% from three points (2nd percentage in the division) to the Metropolitans 92, longtime leaders of the regular season standings ended in third place.
It closes a priori the transfer window of Nanterre 92 largely drawn from the archives of the French Championship and follows the arrivals of playmaker Justin Bibbins (ex-Pau), pivot Hamady Ndiaye (ex-Pau), interior Miralem Halilovic (ex-Boulogne-Levallois), strong winger Hans Vanwijn (ex-Dijon in 2020-2021) and winger Rion Brown (ex-Dijon in 2017-2018).
