Juan Carlos Unzueformer coach of Girona F.C.former player and former coach of FC Barcelona, among other teams, attended this morning the VALLVIVA festival to hold a talk entitled life lessonsin the auditorium of Brides, in the venue where the festival is held.
Unzué has shared his experience as affected by ALS diseaseand has debated around the values of sport, such as commitment to resilience or empathy, in addition to sharing life lessons around the importance of effort, perseverance, or boldness in pro of personal and professional growth.
Unzué has given this talk in the framework of the day that the Festival dedicates to raising awareness about this disease.
The VALLVIVA festival allocates all the profits to promote the projects of three solidarity foundations, among which is the project of Juan Carlos Unzué. Apart from this, the profits obtained will go to the Albert Bosch Foundation, which aims to promote research and research into medical, biomedical and surgical solutions to childhood diseases; ia la Girona Oncolliga Foundationa non-profit organization focused on promoting health and raising awareness in society.
