Jhon Janer Lucumí on the Premier League radar with Bournemouth and Fulham | Colombians Abroad

Colombian players this summer and in the transfer window are hitting the Premier League hard. It is not only Newcastle United’s interest in Duván Zapata that still has no conclusion for the Hurricanes. Luis Sinisterra arrived at Leeds United, Luis Fernando Díaz to play his second season with Liverpool, and in the Championship, Hull City is looking for promotion with Óscar Estupiñán as a benchmark in attack.

As well as the recently mentioned players, Jefferson Lerma returned to the Premier League where he will seek with Bournemouth to maintain his permanence in the most competitive competition in the world. Lerma, who was a piece to get promotion, will be able to rub shoulders with a teammate from the Colombian National Team who is of interest to the British club.

Jhon Janer Lucumí, still a player for Genk in Belgium and with a contract that expires in exactly one year, is Bournemouth’s target. However, it is not the only team in the Premier League that wants to have the central defender from Cali. Well, to that interest is also added a club that is experiencing a similar scenario such as Fulham.

Whatever his next destination is, of which two Premier League clubs are referenced, Jhon Janer Lucumí will have the need to maintain the category at Bournemouth or Fulham. With the whites, it’s a huge mission, because Fulham usually get promoted and in the season following their promotion they can’t sustain their permanence.

At Genk in Belgium, Jhon Janer Lucumí shares a team with two Colombians like Daniel Muñoz and Carlos Cuesta. Now he is closely watching his departure, and the Belgian team does not look badly on a business to make an economic profit before Lucumí’s contract ends in June 2023. The club expects an offer that ranges from 9 million euros.
