Fabregas is rumored to have reached an agreement with Como for a contract duration of two years.
Club owned by Indonesian businessman, Como has reportedly reached an agreement with Cesc Fabregas. The 35-year-old footballer will sign a two-year contract.
This means that Fabregas will receive direction from Kurniawan Dwi Yulianto. The Indonesian national team legend is now an assistant coach for Como.
Kurniawan also gave a response regarding the arrival of Fabregas to Como. He said that until now the club has not given any information at all.
“I can’t comment anything about it. What’s more, the person concerned [Fabregas] not here yet,” said Kurniawan when contacted by the media.
If Fabregas joined Como, it would be a surprise. Given, the club plays in Serie B which is the second caste competition in Italy.
However, based on reports circulating Fabregas came to Como as a provision for his future. He wants to learn the Italian style of play to enrich his knowledge in coaching.
Fabregas plans to become a coach after hanging up his boots. Hence, he chose Como even though a number of clubs were interested in using his services in the 2022/23 season.
Throughout his career, Fabregas has never played in Italy. The clubs he has played for are Barcelona, Arsenal, Chelsea and AS Monaco.
Now Fabregas is looking for a new club. This situation is because his contract with the French team, AS Monaco, has been completed at the end of June 2022.
