In Prayssac and Puy-l’Evêque, new coaches at the football club

The general assembly of the PPFC (Puy l’Evêque-Prayssac football club) was held on Saturday June 25 in the council room of the town hall of Puy-l’Evêque in the presence of the mayor of Prayssac, Fabienne Sigaud, of his assistant Christophe Roger and the municipal councilor of Puy-l’Évêque delegate for sport, Philippe Tocaven.

The difficulties of the club

President Jérémy Laurens thinks that, despite the descent of division of the two senior teams, a new breath will allow the club to recover thanks in particular to the return of many elders. Secretary Alain Molinié, after discussing the pleasant trip of the PPFC to the twinned town of Saint Flaive, took stock of the activity and thanked the two referees of the club and Jean-Claude Lagarde for his involvement.

However, he regretted that the seniors were not more interested in the life of the football school. From a financial point of view, he deplored the drop in the Puy-l’Evêque subsidy and felt that the club was taken “hostage” between the two municipalities. Another problem: the impossibility of playing on the field of Puy-l’Evêque, which has been very busy since the creation of the women’s section of the RCP. Bernard Tayssandié, head of the football school, recalled that all the fifty young people were able to play thanks, in certain categories, to the merger with Montcabrier, and regretted the lack of care given to the locker rooms by the players.

Each penalized player will have to compensate with an action

Treasurer Joëlle Hanton lamented that the red or yellow cards cost the club €2,000. In this regard, each sanctioned player will now have to compensate with a “favorable” action (arbitration, line tracing, etc.). Contributions will be increased by €5. Guillaume Brocheton, the coach, gives way to former player Jérôme Bozoul, helped by Dominique Guignouard, a young retiree.

On the side of elected officials, Fabienne Sigaud refuted the fact that there is disagreement with Puy-l’Evêque. She advised to contact the municipalities of origin of the players to obtain funds and insisted on the need for necessary cohesion. Philippe Tocaven noted that the lack of volunteers is felt everywhere. The club has 129 members including 50 seniors and 29 player managers. Training will resume on July 15.
