Four young players of the Hawks Club of Guerche-de-Bretagne (Ille-et-Vilaine) have been selected for the French team for the European Championships. Gabin Chaussée will join the French baseball team 12U. From July 5 to 15, he will participate with the Blues in the European Championship, in Vienna, Austria. The goal: to reach the first two places in the standings to then participate in the World Cup in 2023. In 2021, two young Hawks had been selected at this level.

In the 15U category, two players, Léna Joseph and Jasmine Georget, will represent the colors of the club in the France softball team. A project partly self-financed by the actions of young people. Seventeen players, four managers and two guides are on the trip. For two weeks, they will share the life of the Americans because they will be housed with families.

Their program: a week in New York between training and baseball games and visits to Manhattan, then a week of an international tournament in Freeport, Pennsylvania.
