Iho López and Spar Girona decide to separate their paths again

Spar Girona announced today that Iho López will not continue at the club this season. The Blanes player and the Girona club have decided to separate their paths, having previously done so when Iho left for the United States for four years to study and play in the NCAA I at a stage marked by a serious accident. of traffic that left her blank for two years. The pivot returned to Girona in the summer of 2020 and was transferred to GEiEG Uni -the former subsidiary- to pick up the pace of competition in the Women’s League 2. From then on, he combined it with the first team of the Women’s League to be part of the staff led by Alfred Julbe last year. However, he failed to have much prominence with 190 minutes played in 20 league games and an average of 1.6 points, 2.3 rebounds and 0.3 assists. He also participated as a testimonial in the Queen’s Cup and the Euroleague.

Iho arrived at the Spar Girona in cadet age and made her debut at a very young age in the Women’s League in the 2013-14 season. In addition, he was part of the squad that won the first Uni League title in the 2014-15 season. After a hiatus in the United States and a transfer to GEiEG Uni, Blanes renewed last year to become a full member of the first team. Now, however, both the club and the player have agreed to leave.
