Bad Breisig. On Friday and Saturday, July 8th and 9th, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., families and all health-conscious citizens of the region can look forward to exciting activities related to their health in and in front of the Roman thermal baths. The Roman thermal baths and the Brohl mineral spring invite you to the health days together.
In cooperation with the Mittelrhein Gymnastics Association, the Bad Niederbreisig Gymnastics Club and the IKK-Südwest, sporting courses and activities are offered to watch and participate in. From a bouncy castle and children’s judo for the little ones to interactive body analysis, XCO walking and flexibar training, there is something for every age group. For older visitors, there will be a special program item for fitness and mobility in old age on Saturday afternoon. In the meantime, the Roman bistro takes care of the physical well-being of the guests with healthy dishes and freshly squeezed juices. An in-house exhibition with interesting lectures and offers on the subject of health for the whole family round off the event. “The Roman thermal baths have been actively living the event motto with the thermal spa, the natural sauna infusions and the large fitness studio since the reopening. Families are just as welcome with us as older guests who appreciate the healing water,” says Bernd Schmitz, manager of the thermal baths. Thorsten Huber, Head of Marketing at the Brohl fountain, adds: “Exercise is just as essential for health as a balanced diet and drinking the right fluids. The calcium-rich Steinsieker mineral and healing waters with over 620 mg/l calcium and our Brohler mineral water with a high magnesium and hydrogen carbonate content contribute to a healthy lifestyle and are part of a balanced diet.” The lecture “Power for the bones” by Oecotrophologist and nutritionist dr. Rita Hermann in the bistro of the Römer-Thermen underlines this topic.
