Grand Slam of judo, gold medal from Brescia Alice Bellandi

IS Brescia won the judo Grand Slam gold in Budapest. To get on the top step of the podium in 78 kg is in fact Alice Bellandithe judoka from Brescia that at Tokyo Olympics was placed in seventh place and the most recent Europeans won the bronze medal. Silver instead for the Italian Christian Parlati in the 90 kg.

Yesterday, on the third day of the Grand Slam, the Azzurri made a splash by entering at full speed in two finals. Bellandi’s race gave the dimension of the potential he possesses in this category, putting under the Chinese Liu Yi and then Shori Hamada (Japan) and Mayra Aguiar (Brazil), respectively gold and bronze at the Olympics in Tokyo, to conclude with the final gold won on the Israeli Inbar Lanir, currently number 3 in the world rankings.

Christian Parlati made his way by winning the final of 90 kg, overtaking in order the Lebanese Caramnob Sagaipov, the Serbian Nemanja Majdov, the Hungarian Gergely Nerpel and the Brazilian Rafael Macedo, all victories obtained with technical points. In the final with the Japanese Sanshiro Murao the match was very tactical and ended with the penalty assigned to an unsuccessful attack by the blue.
