Giovanni Moreno today: they reveal millionaire income in Nacional, he said he played for free | Colombian Soccer | Betplay League

Giovanni Moreno continues to be the center of controversy in Colombian football, all because of his revelations about his time at Atlético Nacional.

“When I arrived at Nacional, I didn’t charge him a peso. I didn’t have a salary, rather a form. When we won a prize, the withholding was charged on the prize because I didn’t have a salary. I won fewer prizes than the others because they had their contract”, he said in a live with the Los del Sur bar.

“I was not an expense for Nacional, and I only had a bonus prize if we were champions. And that is why I tell you that they did not believe because they signed him, since he will not have a salary and will not be a champion. I came with that conviction of that we were champions,” he added.

So, one of the players who secured the most public presence for the champion, did he not have a salary? If Nacional didn’t defeat Tolima in the final, would they have been without money for the whole semester? It is true that he does not have financial difficulties, but the revelation caused a lot of controversy.

The truth is that he was champion and that, as journalist Carlos Antonio Vélez revealed, that assured him a millionaire income: he invoiced a sum between 150,000 and 200,000 dollars

At the official dollar exchange rate, we are talking about an amount between 650 and 880 million pesos, which would be equivalent to an income of more than 100 million per month. Clearly that was billed for the title, meaning it was a winning gamble for the player made possible by his input.

For Vélez, however, that presence of veterans is not always so favorable: “they gave Colombian football a shine, but we have to build a serious profile, we have poor and slow football, we cannot bring people who end up impoverishing the coins that remain in the teams, they must provide the physical football that is required today,” he said on his YouTube channel.
