Fruzins. Football: A good season for the USFF

A positive assessment for the US Seysses-Frouzins (USSF), which recently held its general meeting. On the sporting level, the key event is the rise in R1 of the pennant team and in R2 for the U15s: “A real feat, the fruit of work and talent, combined with the skills of the management.” Other major events should be highlighted: participation in the international tournament in Guerlédan (Brittany) where the U13s finished fifth behind AS Monaco and PSG; the movement of the U12s to Portiragnes, the U11s to Saint-Nazaire and the U8s to Sète; local tournaments for all. The club now has 588 members, of which more than 350 are under 18 years old. The main objectives for the next season are the maintenance in R1 of the pennant team and the possible accession to R3 for the reserve team. For the year 2022-2023, the workforce will remain generally stable, although enriched with some reinforcements having evolved to higher levels. Despite the inflation of travel costs and the health crisis, the USSF balances its accounts over the last four seasons. The municipality has also confirmed that it wants to help the club improve its infrastructure. Training will resume on August 1, before the return of friendly matches, the Coupe de France and then the Championship (September 17).
